About the Blog
1Every semester, I enjoy handing out an assignment called “The Paper Bag Challenge.” Inside this mundane paper bag are equally mundane elements like tooth picks, marsh mellows, marbles, glitter, fuzzy sticks, and play dough. From here, I ask my students to create something from this. No other rules, no other limitations. After many shocked expressions and unease over the openness of the assignment, my students begin to embrace the freedom of the paper bag challenge. And when it comes time to turn in their assignments, they are surprised to discover that each of them created something distinctly unique.
This simple bag revolutionises how my students view their own creativity. Afterwards, changing their thinking to a “why not” mentality.
This weekly blog celebrates the paper bag, human creativity, and the power of curiosity. Join me as I explore how we can foster creativity and curiosity in our personal and professional lives.

Wow. I am very impressed and so proud of you. You’re doing it! 🙂 I can’t wait to be a subscriber and avid follower!
